The Bank commenced operations in 1999 as a microfinance community bank and converted to a licensed microfinance bank in 2008, following the licensing of microfinance banks by the Central Bank of Nigeria. Community-owned and strongly connected to the people it serves, it provides savings, credit and financial empowerment services targeted at women, youth, farmers and small businesses.
About the Role
Standard Microfinance Bank Limited is seeking an experienced Branch Manager for its branch in Jimeta, Yola.
The Branch Manager is responsible for the overall management and performance of the branch, including business growth, deposit mobilisation, quality loan portfolio growth, customer service, branch operations, staff performance, risk management and regulatory compliance.
The successful candidate will drive deposit mobilisation, quality loan portfolio growth and customer service while maintaining strong risk management and regulatory compliance.
Required Experience
- Minimum 5 years relevant banking or microfinance experience, including significant experience in branch operations, credit/loan management and business development.
- Proven experience in deposit mobilisation, lending, loan recovery and customer relationship management.
